The "Transatlantico", designed by Ernesto Basile, a large room located behing the Chamber along the diameter of the hemicycle, with Sicilian marble floors and a system of lights that resemble the ones of real transatlantics. It is said thsat the real political life and the most important decisions are taken here, not inside the Chamber, during informal conversations.

The reading room ("Sala lettura") on the same floor of the Chamber, where a wide selection of national and International newspapers are made available to the deputies.
Pratolli Alberto, 35, and Romano Francesco, 43, inside the "Barberia", the barber shop open only to male parliamentarians. Barbers are selected on the basis of their skills in using old-fashioned barber's tools, as no electric devides for cutting or shaving are allowed.
The Casellario, a series of mailboxes for the Members of Parliament, where mail is kept and retrieved.
Inside the Buvette, the bar in front of the Chamber, where deputies can have a quick bite and drink. The service is very efficient and discrete.
The Room of the Queen, the the Queen used to wait for the King to finish his official meetings. Today it is used for conferences.
Paola Colucci, coordinator for lunches and dinners in the restaurant inside the Parliament, has been working here for 27 years.
