M.'s trip to the US lasted for 3 month, during which he had to pass sevral borders and pay numerous traffickers. In total, the cost of the trip to New York was 12.000 USD. It took him 1 and a half years to pay it back to friends and family who financed him. His brother also moved to NY very recently, and is still working to pay his debts. Due to the risky and expensive trip, M. never went back home.
