Spring mycological excursion organized by the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme in the pasture of Anterivo, in the presence of the monumental “Border Larch.”
“Il nostro bosco” (“Our Woodland”), is a project commissioned by FSC Italia that documents the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, a centuries-old, self-governing institution in the province of Trento, Northern Italy, that manages and protects over 20,000 hectares of communal forest, with a focus on sustainability, community benefit, and environmental stewardship. FSC Italia is committed to caring for forests and those who depend on them: protecting biodiversity, upholding the rights of Indigenous peoples, ensuring the safety of forest workers, and more.
“Il nostro bosco” invites viewers to rethink the relationship between nature and community, not as separate and independent spheres, but as parts of a single, interconnected ecosystem. Through this visual narrative, FSC certification emerges not simply as a technical standard, but as a foundation for a model of forest management that integrates environmental care, social well-being, and economic resilience.
The book can be purchased in a special edition from our shop or in a regular edition from FSC Italia shop.
